Red Fox Vixen and Pup

A mother fox comforts her baby. The full, furry coat of the red fox is quite distinctive and contrasts with the lighter, softer fur of her offspring, making them a striking subject for painting. I am inspired by animals of any kind and especially enjoyed the expression  of emotion and intimacy in this painting.

This 8 x 10 pastel was done on Sennelier Pastel Card. It will arrive matted and ready to be framed. The matted size is 13 x 15. Frame not included.
