Joy Comes In the Morning

Portrait of a lovely, gentle horse, saying her morning prayers. During times of chaos and uncertainty, many people find comfort in nature and animals. Horses seem to have an especially soothing presence for me, bringing to mind happier, simpler times and the hope of brighter days ahead.  "Weeping may continue for a night, but joy comes in the morning."

This Acrylic painting was created on stretched, wrapped canvas. standard depth, about one half inch, and is shipped unframed.  All the edges have been finished and fastened on the back. It may be displayed with or without a frame.

My thanks to photographer Karen Broemmelsick for her  beautiful reference photo.
