Wolf, the Hunter
Pastel
8.5 x 10
This painting has been sold
The intense stare of the wolf has inspired many works of art, songs, and stories throughout the centuries. He is a hero to some, a fierce villain to others. For this wildlife painter, the wolf is a special challenge, and though I have studied and painted him for years, I will never really know him.
Wolf, the Hunter was done in Pan Pastels and semi-soft sticks on Pastelmat. The image size is 8.5 x 10. It has been mounted on foam core board and matted with a three inch mat and shipped unframed.
