Eagle in Winter
Painting of a majestic eagle on a snowy morning.
This piece was inspired by Psalm 91. Eagles are symbols of strength and power and are often used as word pictures in Scripture to portray the love and care of God for His people. I love this description of the eagle as a fierce protector of its young. They are safe in its dwelling, high above the rest of the animal kingdom. Seeing even the shadow of an adult eagle will dissuade a potential predator from attacking. The adult uses his feathers to cover its offspring and protect it from the elements. As long as they stay close to their parents, nothing can harm them.
This is an acrylic painting on stretched, wrapped canvas, 10 x 10, standard depth. No fasteners show and all edges are painted so that the work may be displayed framed or unframed. The cost is $100, shipping included within the United States.
